A MAN OF VALOR

Sermon Title: A MAN OF VALUE

BY : APOSTLE ENOCH ABORAH

Judges 11:1 teaches us a valuable lesson about being a man of valor. Despite being born to a prostitute, Jephthah grew up to be a mighty man of valor. This scripture challenges our conventional thinking and encourages us to look beyond our circumstances and focus on our strengths.

A man of valor is strong and resilient, even in the face of adversity, as seen in Judges 11:1. Despite being born to a prostitute, Jephthah grew up to be a mighty man of valor. A man of valor is not deterred by negative things in life, including his past or present challenges. Judges 11:1 shows us that our past or present circumstances do not define us. A man of valor is able to carry himself up, even when he falls, as Judges 11:1 illustrates. He learns from his mistakes and uses them as opportunities for growth. Failure is not a full stop for his life; instead, he takes responsibility for his actions and keeps moving forward. Judges 11:1 teaches us that failure is possible, but it is not allowed to become a full stop for our lives.

Sermon Description

A man of valor understands that everyone has a certain dent in life, as Judges 11:1 shows us. There is no man on this earth that has it all; everybody has a certain weakness or disadvantage. However, God compensates for our weaknesses, giving us double strength so that our weakness will not destroy us, but our strength will give us advantage. A man of valor is not defined by his past or his family background. He has a divine purpose and assignment, and he has been dispatched into a nation at a certain prophetic time to fulfill a specific prophetic agenda. Judges 11:1 teaches us that we are bigger and greater than our circumstances, and we cannot be limited by the family we were born into.

A man of valor realizes that he was born on an assignment and has a specific purpose to fulfill, as Judges 11:1 illustrates. He is not a biological mistake or the product of a man and a woman who lack the capacity to discipline their biological instinct. Instead, he has been strategically positioned by God to fulfill a specific purpose. Judges 11:1 teaches us that a man of valor focuses on what he has, rather than dwelling on what he doesn’t have. He concentrates on his strengths and the things he has, so that by them, he will come to a point of favor.

A man of valor understands that his gift makes room for him and brings him to the place of greatness, as Judges 11:1 shows us. He also realizes that he has been given double strength to compensate for his weaknesses. Judges 11:1 teaches us that a man of valor is not defined by his past or present circumstances. Instead, he is defined by his divine purpose and assignment. He has been dispatched into a nation at a certain prophetic time to fulfill a specific prophetic agenda.

In conclusion, being a man of valor means being strong, resilient, and focused on our strengths. It means learning from our mistakes and using them as opportunities for growth. We are not defined by our past or present circumstances, but by our divine purpose and assignment. As we reflect on Jephthah’s story, let us remember that our value and worth come from who we are in God, not from our past or present circumstances.

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We thank you for the lesson from Jephthah’s life. Help us to understand that our value and worth come from who we are in you, and not from our past or present circumstances.

Give us the strength to be resilient in the face of adversity, and to focus on our strengths rather than our weaknesses. Help us to learn from our mistakes and use them as opportunities for growth.

We pray that you will dispatch us into our divine purpose and assignment, and give us the double strength we need to compensate for our weaknesses.

In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
